Introducing our NEW Powder Coating Service…

Introducing our NEW Powder Coating Service…

Here at Rutland Radiators we have offered our range of over 20 finishes for some time. However, our range of finishes have been previously limited to metal finishes. Therefore, it is a huge pleasure to announce the launch of our new Powder Coating Service.

Carried out in-house, our Powder Coating allows customers and clients to choose almost any colour of their choice.

We have already supplied towel warmers in pink, matt black and baby blue. The options are very much endless.

What is Powder Coating?

Powder Coating was developed in North America in the 1960’s as an alternative to painting. It is the application of a coloured powder to a surface electro-statically, and then placed under heat to “cure”.

Why Powder Coat and not Paint?

Being solvent free means that Powder Coating offers a more environmentally friendly solution than paint.

It also results in less wastage compared to traditional spraying, adding to it’s environmental credentials.

Being a solid powder means that layers can be almost twice the thickness compared to paint. In addition, Powder Coating can have flexibility within it, which paint usually does not have avoiding cracking.

However, the biggest benefit for us at Rutland Radiators is that Powder Coating offers a finish in keeping with our focus on quality and longevity.

The end result is a finish which matches the 10 year guarantee we offer on our Handmade Towel Warmers, Radiators and Vanity Basin Stands.

Can we honestly produce any colour?

Yes! Here at Rutland Radiators we provide a completely bespoke design service. So whether you’re trying to match existing colours, or looking for something completely unique and bespoke, we can help.

We can either advise a colour, or you can come to us with a number such as a RAL number or Pantone reference.
