Occasionally however, a mistake from a customer may result in a towel rail being delivered that is not what they were intending to order. As a result, we have put together 4 easy mistakes to avoid when ordering your heated towel rail.
1. Measurements – An easy mistake to make, we would always advise to “measure twice, and order once!”. Remember that distances quoted on our technical specifications are overall distances and that if your heated towel rail is being fitted within the proximity of a door, sufficient room should be allowed for the door to open fully.
2. Obstructions – Another oversight often seen when designers perhaps have not got an accurate record of the design and features of the site. Obstructions such as dado rails and tiling can obstruct the level mounting of a towel rail to the wall. Luckily by using our bespoke design service we can work around most features within a room.
3. Heating Options – When in a rush it can be all to easy to overlook the required heating option for a towel rail. For example, an electric only towel rail may be ordered for a site where Central Heating is required. In addition, care should be taken to specify the correct handing of electric elements.
4. Finish – Pictures can be deceiving and whilst we do our best to offer accurate photos of our finishes, sometimes, we may not have an exact match for your finish. It is easy to compromise when ordering over how close a finish matches however it can look out of place when it comes to installation. If you ever have any doubt over a finish, you should always request a sample.
